This year the 4th annual "Camp Tuolumne Night at The Freight", presented by The Friends of Berkeley Tuolumne Camp, comes at a pivitol time.
As the City Council and Mayor get ready to vote on their 2018-2019 budget in June, it is VITAL for us to show them that rebuilding Camp Tuolumne is a priority for many Berkeley residents! This is a very important time to show up and be heard. We are competing with other city priorities for the allocation of city funds, so please help us pack the house and show our STRONG support for Camp!
This will be an evening dedicated to getting the latest up to date information regarding the rebuilding of Camp, the potential timeline for the next few years, and the chance to ask questions directly to the new Mayor of Berkeley, Jessie Arreguin, as well as the City Staff and some Council Members.
In addition to the premier of a very short movie about Camp, and an original song by a camper, we'll be finalizing the evening program very soon. Stay tuned.
Pass this on to fellow campers and encourage them to come! We need your support! Now is the time to show up and help get camp rebuilt.
