4th annual Animal Film Festival
In its fourth year, the Animal Film Festival (AFF) is the only national fest of its kind, screening specifically animal-themed films in every category. AFF is held at the Center for the Arts, a beautiful and state of the art theater in the heart of the Sierra Nevada foothills in Grass Valley, California.
Presented by the Center for Animal Protection & Education (CAPE), AFF will feature independent films, funny shorts, documentaries, and works by emerging artists all telling stories about animals and the issues they face in the world today. This all day film festival will begin at 10:00 am (doors open at 9:30 am), and will screen dozens of films over a period of 12 hours. Discussions and Q & A’s with visiting filmmakers will intersperse screenings. All films are suited for General Audiences unless otherwise noted on the schedule poster in the lobby and on the AFF website. For a complete program guide (to be finalized in January 2016), visit www.animalfilmfestival.org.
Chef Jackie Howard will be in the lobby preparing made to order vegan meals that you can enjoy inside the theater while you watch the movies! Beverages will be available for purchase in the lobby.
FREE POPCORN will be in the lobby along with tables hosted by several animal organizations.
