The DC History Conference invites community members, students, educators, and practitioners to join us in person for this free conference.
About this event
The DC History Conference begins Thursday, March 31 with the Letitia Woods Brown Memorial Lecture at the Charles Sumner School Museum and Archives (1201 17th St NW)—the only session at this venue.
The conference continues on Friday, April 1 and Saturday, April 2 at the Martin Luther King Jr. Library with panels, keynotes, the reception, History Network, and Poster Session. You can review the schedule-at-a-glance and full program.

Registration closes at 10:00 AM Thursday, March 31.
Onsite registration re-opens at 10:00 AM Friday, April 1.

Register for the Letitia Woods Brown Memorial Lecture to reserve your in-person seat at the opening of the 2022 DC History Conference on Thursday evening at Sumner School Museum and Archives. Please note that space is limited at in-person sessions.

Register for General Admission to attend the conference in person with access to all Friday and Saturday conference activities. Please note that space is limited at in-person sessions. You will also receive instructions to attend a panel virtually, if you choose.
VIRTUAL ACCESS ONLY | FRIDAY, APRIL 1 - SATURDAY, APRIL 2
Register for Virtual Access Only if you will only attend the conference via livestream sessions. Please note that only one panel per session will be livestreamed, as indicated in the conference program.
