The Citizens for Fire Prevention Committee, together with The Philadelphia Fire Department, Cordially invites you to attend The 45th Annual Fire Prevention Dinner Dance On Friday, October 7, 2016.
The event is highlighted by the presentation of the prestigious T. Seddon Duke Fire Prevention Awards and the Inaugural Joseph Flores Award. Mayor James Kenney has been invited to join recently appointed Fire Commissioner Adam Thiel in presenting the Duke award to Cecily Tynan, 6ABC and in presenting the inaugural Joe Flores Award to Daniel J. Hilferty, President & CEO of Independence Blue Cross.
The Dinner Dance is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the Citizens for Fire Prevention Committee, raising funds that provide smoke alarms in high risk communities and fire and life safety education.
Your contribution will go towards fire prevention education, the purchase and installation of ten-year lithium powered smoke alarms, making firefighting safer, and less than 5% towards administration and fundraising. Philadelphia Fire Department (PFD) salaries are paid by the City and the PFD does the smoke alarm installations and education.

After your purchase please fill out our online attendee registration form once you have your list of attendees. Please make sure to register all attendees by September 30, 2016 so they we may have their meal and placements ready.
