About this event
It’s one thing to apply to and create a profile for The Washington Post Talent Network. It’s another thing to be vetted and invited to join the Talent Network, the best conduit for freelance journalists all over the country and the globe to cover breaking national news stories and enterprise features for The Washington Post.
The “45 Minutes With…” webinar is free for AAJA members and $5 for nonmembers, with all proceeds going to AAJA Freelance, a national affinity group within the nonprofit Asian American Journalists Association.
Featuring:
Susan Levine is the editor of The Washington Post's Talent Network, its international network of freelance reporters, photographers, audio and video journalists, who collaborate with staffers across the newsroom as part of breaking news and enterprise coverage.
She has enjoyed two tours of duty at The Post. From 1993 to 2008, she worked on the Metro staff, covering aging, health and medicine, and the death penalty, as a special projects reporter and as assistant Virginia editor for state government and politics. She spent two years at Politico as deputy editor of a 10-person health-care-policy vertical, then returned to The Post in 2015 as the National Desk’s deputy health, science and environment editor.
*The session will be recorded. So if you can't make it, you can still view it for two weeks afterward. RSVP to receive the link following the event.*
