The Symposium is sponsored by the Central New York Regional Perinatal Program: a collaboration of Crouse Health, Neonatal Associates of CNY and Upstate Medical University

COURSE DESCRIPTION

A stimulating one day symposium designed for
obstetrical and pediatric physicians, nurses, nurse
midwives, nurse practitioners and related health care
professionals. Our conference focus is recognizing,
caring for, and working with the high-risk mother, fetus/
newborn, and family.


COURSE OBJECTIVES

At the conclusion of this program, participants will be able to:
• Identify new developments in the care of the high risk
mother and infant.
• Develop an overview of recent studies relating to highrisk
pregnancy and complicated neonatal situations,
including medical, ethical, and psychosocial aspects of
care.
• Evaluate perinatal care in the evolving health care
environment.


ACCREDITATION

This activity has been planned and implemented in
accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies
of the Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY)
through the joint providership of Crouse Hospital and SUNY
Upstate Medical University. Crouse Hospital is accredited
by the Medical Society of the State of New York (MSSNY) to
provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Crouse Hospital designates this live activity for a maximum of
5.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only
