Friends Who Are Going
Event description

Hi, there,

Thank you for pre-registering for the FREE Repair Cafe Pasadena, coming to Altadena for the first time.

We welcome you to join this community of people helping each other...and have lots of FUN in the process.

Here is a few rules...

1.ONE ticket per person only. (You may get additional repair, even that of a different kind, if service spots are still available)

2. REPAIRS ARE NOT GUARANTEED -- often, repair spots for electronic repairs, run out as early as 11:30am. Also, we may have to limit the number of repairs to 2 per person, and even limit electronic repairs to 1 per person ( that we can serve the max number of visitors)

3. If for any reason you cannot make it. Please! CANCEL your registration. Someone else would love to have the chance to participate.

4. Please check our policies by clicking here.

5. Due to their complex nature, we ask that you refrain from bringing sewing machines to be repaired.

***FOR electronics repair: Please have your confirmation ticket readily available either on paper or on a mobile device when checking in at the Tinkerers station. Please make sure that you have signed up for the right ticket. Due to a high volume of items, tickets are NOT interchangeable (i.e Common Repair --> Electronic Repair).

IMPORTANT Disclaimer:

This is a volunteer organization that serves the community. Our services are provided free of charge to members in our community. However, please be aware that although we make every effort to attempt a repair, there are some items that we may not be able to repair. We will attempt to repair items at our discretion and cannot be responsible for lost or damaged items. The items brought in will be the sole responsibility of the owner. For more information on our policies, click here. By ticking the check box below and showing up at our event, you signify your acceptance of these terms and our policies. We reserve the right to check ID and to modify these rules without prior notice.

Again, thank you for registering and we are looking forward to welcoming you to Repair Cafe Pasadena on SAT. July 15th.

Consider volunteering or bringing some snacks to share if you enjoy this event.

How can I volunteer at this event?

Fill out this google form and we will contact you before the event.

What can I bring into the event?

The most common things people have brought to Repair Cafe are:

Clothings, Eletronics, jewelry, bike, knifes to be sharpened, but volunteers love a challange. Bring whatever you have (except the items listed here) and we will look at it. (Items have to be clean.)

Also, the Really, Really Free Market is a big and popular part of Repair Cafe. This is for any clothings or household items you no longer need or want, that are still in good shape. Items that you want to gift to the community.

This is my first time, what exactly is a Repair Cafe?

"A free, roving, all purpose repair shop & festival
for and by the community

Words are just not enough, you have to see it.

NOTE: there is a ceiling as to how many we can serve. Repairs are not garanteed, last time, repair spots ran out around 12:00 noon.
