40th Annual Melvin L. Cohen, MD Pediatric Update 2017
Pediatric Update 2017 features nationally prominent faculty, presenting topics that highlight the most recent advances and current issues in pediatrics. The program has been designed for practicing pediatricians, other primary care physicians and pediatric nurse practitioners to increase their knowledge in the following areas: Adolescent Medicine; Allergy & Immunology; Cardiology; Children with Special Needs; Dermatology; Emergency Medicine; Hospitalist Medicine; Infectious Disease; Integrative Medicine; Ophthalmology; Orthopedics; Palliative Care; Psychiatry; and Quality.
This course will combine lectures and workshops with question and answer sessions to allow the opportunity for interaction with faculty members.
Course registrants will have the opportunity to participate in one of three workshops during breakfast each morning. Please plan to attend the workshop of your choice, pre-registration will not be necessary.
PEDIATRIC UPDATE 2017 COURSE CREDIT
Phoenix Children’s Hospital is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide Continuing Medical Education for physicians.
Phoenix Children’s Hospital designates this live activity for a maximum of 18 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits TM. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
MAINTENANCE of CERTIFICATION (MOC) PART TWO
An application for MOC Part Two credits will be submitted to the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP). Further details will follow.
5th Annual Childhood Obesity Symposium

The Childhood Obesity Symposium offers healthcare providers an opportunity to learn from local and national experts in the area of pediatric obesity and obesity-associated conditions. The goal is to enhance the knowledge base of healthcare providers in order for them to improve the health and lives of children and families affected by obesity.

Can I update my registration information?
Yes, the registration and information desk will be open from 5 to 7 PM on Sunday, March 12 (for those who wish to check in early) and daily throughout the conference.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, however, a printed ticket will assist with a speedy check-in process.
What is the refund policy?
The full fee is payable upon registration. Please make checks payable to: Pediatric Update 2017 (ALL FEES IN US CURRENCY). There will be an additional fee of $20 for on-site registration.
In case of emergency, cancellation of your registration will be accepted up to two weeks prior to the meeting date, with a refund of your registration fees, less a $50 processing charge. Registration fees will not be refunded for cancellations received within two weeks of the conference.
