Description

The National Black United Front (NBUF) invites you to Washington D.C. to celebrate our 40th Anniverasry and national convention. Known as "Chocolate City," Washington D.C. is home to historic African American institutions, events and personalities such as the Million Man March, Howard University and Frederick Douglass.

The National Black United Front is an organization of made up of concerned and committed, individuals and organizations who have taken on the responsibility for making the community better. During our 40th Anniversary and convention participants will have the oppurtunity to network and have legitimate input on addressing critical areas of Black empowerment.


What is the goal?

The goal of the 40th Natioanl Convention is to build a politically conscious, unified, committed and effective Black mass movement. The National Black United Front will be putting forth an angenda that aimed at empowering and engaging communities at the ground level.


What should I expect?

Key highlights of the convention will include multiple events geared toward uplifting the Black Community. There will be a Black Political Power Reception, Natioanl Unity Banquet, National meeting of Black Organizational Leadership and Strategic Planning Session.


Who will be in attendance?

The NBUF Convention will bring together scholars, urban professionals, grassroots activists, politicans, artists and long time movement elders from across the country to address the needs of the Black community. Additionally there will be strong contingents from the local and surounding areas communities to help make this experience well rounded and impactful.
