Presented by Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine this community event is the first of a series, 400 Years of Inequality: Changing the Narrative, commemorating the 400 year anniversary of the first Africans being brought to Jamestown, Virginia. We aim to encourage an open discussion surrounding the impact of slavery on the United States.

This event will feature dynamic speakers, local performers and a moderated panel discussion intended to join the community conversation concerning injustices affecting African-Americans.
