Grace Note farm and co-organizer the Burrillville Land Trust launches their second season of indoor concerts. “Music at the Farm” will again present a series of concerts the second Sunday of each month at 2PM this year starting April 14th going through December 8th. Concerts will feature a variety of music styles from classical chamber music to folk and jazz. Artistic Director and flutist Virginia Sindelar, a graduate of Juilliard, plans a nucleus of artists in residence and has invited talented internationally known artists. Programs will showcase music from around the world. Enjoy a tour of the farm, meet the artists and home made desserts available for a donation - after the concert. Sponsors for this year's concerts include the Burrillville Land Trust, Blackstone Valley Tourism Council, WESCO Energy, Snowhurst Farm and Dr. and Mrs. Tullio Pitassi. For horse enthusiasts the concert series brings a new dimension to combining trail riding with music. Bring your own horse from 10am to 11am arrival time on the morning of the concert. We provide parking for your trailers, tail maps and access to George Washington Management Area. Take a ride and enjoy the trails. Bring your own bag lunch and enjoy your lunch on the grounds of an 18th century historic New Engand farm setting. And at 2pm enjoy an indoor concert with desserts available. Ticket prices are per person and are given below and reservations for trail riding are required. For inclement weather you can use your concert ticket for that concert and ride another day OR just call to change your reservation date for another ride and concert. Proof of rabies and coggins required.

October 13th - 400 year old Scottish Music

Duo Maresienne, Olav Chris Henriksen, lute, cittern and English guitar and Carol Lewis, violas da gamba, will perform hunts, bagpipes and Scots tunes of the Scottish Renaissance and Baroque. Named for a great French baroque composer and gambist Marin Marais, the ensemble treats its audience to a rich variety of music for some fascinating and elegant instruments. Both players are among America’s leading early musicians. They have appear with the Boston Camerata, Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra and Hesperion XX. They have performed at major music festivals in Holland, Italy Norway, France and the U.S. They have recordings available on EMI, Harmonia Mundi, Nonesuch, Erato and Decca. They perform regularly in the concert series sponsored by the Historically Informed Performance.
