You’ve heard about the benefits of mindfulness meditation, now experience them for yourself! Join Noah Pomeroy of This Moment Mindfulness at the Impact Hub Honolulu for a four week, one hour per week class series, to learn the basics mindfulness training and develop your own practice over the month. Single class tickets are available, though participants are encouraged to do as many as possible. Noah is a certified professional mindfulness teacher by the International Mindfulness Teacher Association and completed training in mindfulness facilitation at UCLA. Noah draws on mindfulness facilitation experience experience from a variety of contexts, including the University of Hawaii, UCLA, the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration and the Halawa state prison. With a combination of lecture, guided meditation exercises, and discussion, this class series offers guidance on how to start and maintain a mindfulness meditation practice.

Who these classes are for:

Adults who want to experience the benefits of mindfulness in their personal and professional lives. Classes will include discussion on practice experience of participants. We’ll be in this together as we practice daily outside of class.. If you think, “I could never do that, mind is soooo BUSY!,” or “I don’t have time for this” then this class is for you! With a daily mindfulness practice, you’ll find yourself spending more time on what matters and less on other BS.

By the end of this class series, you will:

  • experience your own mindfulness and understand the power of mindfulness

  • Have a legit daily practice with momentum, since you’ve been doing it for a month!

  • know how to bring mindfulness into your daily life, work and relationships

The four classes will focus on:

  1. February 5: The Nuts and Bolts of Starting Your Mindfulness Practice

  2. February 12: Calm in the Chaos: You Are Not Your Thoughts

  3. February 19: Relational Mindfulness: Enhancing Connection With Others

  4. February 26: Mindfulness in Daily Life and Maintaining Your Practice

Participants will receive access to guided meditations to assist with practice during the course and will have the option of joining a a free online community with fellow classmates to log daily practice sessions throughout the course and keep each other accountable. Come learn this practice, it’s a game-changer!
