Bring lunch, water, snack in a backpack or reusable grocery bag.
Dress for the weather (may need hat, sunscreen, or heavy coat. Who knows?)
Be prepared to have fun!
The Historical Society Museum and the new Welcome Center on Highway 192 nearby should be open after the activity, so you can visit there if you have time.

Woods Walks are guided interpretive walks on natural trails within local conservation areas.  Participants learn about ecosystems, plants and animals as well as local history in an outdoor setting.  The pace is casual as we stop along the way to discuss various points of interest.  There are generally not benches for resting along the trails.  Walks are normally 1 to 2 miles in nearly level terrain, but may not be accessible by motorized wheelchair due to surface conditions.  Please call 321-697-3000 if you need additional information about a particular trai.

There is no potable drinking water on site, but composting toilets are available.  The property provides opportunities for hiking, wildlife watching, photography, and off-road bicycles.  There are picnic tables in designated areas.  Dogs are welcome on leash, but owners must clean up pet waste for proper disposal.
