Brianni “Bri” Blue Author, Poet, Spoken Word Artist Motivational Speaker Brianni “Bri” is a published author, spoken word artist and motivational speaker from Berkeley,CA. Also a UC Berkeley alumna, Bri’s passionate and emotionally-charged performances allow her to connect with audiences through empathy, relatability and Inspiration. She has received numerous invitations to lend her creative, captivating Brand of truth telling to events nationwide, including the national stage for Lexus’ Broadcast performance show Verses & Flow. A three-time. published author, Bri has a Digital following of over 20,000 people, was the Founder and Host of the weekly “Speak Easy” open mic series, and created the 'Unapologetically You' Awareness Campaign with a mission to uplift and empower women. Named the Bay Area Black Music Awards Best Female Spoken Word Artist from 2014-2017, the recipient of four 2016 Bay Area Black Music Awards, and the 2017 Cal Poly San Luis Obispo Black Graduation Keynote Speaker, Bri is a multi-talented dynamo that must be heard.
Carla J. Lawson “Isis The Poet” Author/Visual Artist. Carla J. Lawson is a multi- dimensional artist who believes that all art is critical to the harmony of the universe. Carla is a Bay Area native from Pittsburg, California. She has been writing since the age of 8 and performing monologues, spoken word and poetry for over 15 years along with motivational speaking nationally as a featured artist. Carla has published a collection of spoken word/poetry in her book “Where is My Parade” which is also available on all major digital streaming platforms as an album. Carla’s poetry is raw truth telling that audiences embrace and appreciate. Her other literary contribution is a sci-fi trilogy about a female African American superhero. Carla attended The Academy of Art in San Francisco where she majored in Fine Arts. As a professional artist she paints, sculpts, and draws. Carla’s mixed media art is undeniably her signature work that she creates using paint, textiles, and metals amongst other things. After years of creating in various disciplines, Carla has defined her ultimate goal: To create and share culture conscious quality work through poetry and visual art that inspires, empowers and motivates people to be their highest selves on a global level.
Steady Moving, a staple from Oakland’s “Air Lounge” scene, he is a native of the Spoken word artform as well as a rapper, writer and creative visual artist. He brings a male perspective to the artist table with a mixed approach of music, poetry, and 3-D Verse. He creates a picture you can see, hear and feel.
