How much are the tickets for the Dining in?

Accepted Answer

The cost of the ticket is $40. This includes a drinks package (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) and a  four course meal. The cost of the ticket will be payable no later than Tuesday 25 Nov 25 to the Maygar Barracks Officers and Sergeants Mess.

Can I bring my partner to the dining in?

No, this is a closed event to members of 4 CSSB and official invited guests.

What is the order of dress for the dining in?

Accepted Answer

For Officers, Warrant Officers and Senior Non-Commissioned Officers the dress is 6B or 6D, depending on what you have been issued. For all other ranks the dress is 2F.

What if I don't have mess kit?

Accepted Answer

This is a formal event, so the minimum dress standard is formal suit, coat and tie and the equivalent for females.

What if I have a dietary requirement?

Once you have purchased you reserved a ticket through Event brite, email BN OPS of your dietary requirement.  Every effort will be made to accommodate your dietary requirement, we may need to contact you to confirm.

Is there accommodation available at the MBOSM?

Accepted Answer

There is a limited number of room available to reserve in the mess, if you require a room, you are to contact the 4 CSSB Ops cell to check for availability. It should not be assumed you will get a room on base.
