REQUIRED COURSE DETAILS

As you know, 2017 was the first year the NC General Assembly required dentists seeking dental license renewal in North Carolina to take at least a one-hour course on opioid prescription writing pursuant to House Bill 97.

Since House Bill 97 is a general statute in the NC Law, dentists are required to take a course on opioid prescription writing each year until further notice.
