This cross-disciplinary event will bring together individuals from across the University of Pittsburgh’s Schools of the Health Sciences, the Joseph M. Katz Graduate School of Business, the School of Computing and Information, UPMC, Carnegie Mellon University, area foundations, and the local health care start-up community to share information and stimulate new ideas and new collaborations.


Participants will have the opportunity to:

  • Hear keynote addresses from David Mohr, PhD, Director, Center for Behavioral Intervention Technologies at Northwestern University and Jesse Schell, CEO Schell Games and Distinguished Professor of Entertainment Technology, Carnegie Mellon University
  • Attend finalist presentations from the Games4Health challenge hosted by the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Computing and Information
  • Join breakout sessions led by local innovators and entrepreneurs
  • Network with NIH/NSF-funded faculty and software developers
  • Learn new health tech strategies about patient care
  • Interact with attendees over breakfast, lunch, and coffee
  • Conclude with an evening networking reception over hors d'oeuvres and software demonstrations
