Description

The 3rd Annual West Virginia Conference on Traumatic Brain Injury theme is "From Surviving to Thriving: Growth After a TBI." This conference is open for survivors of TBI, their family members, and professionals. We are pleased to bring in several national-level presenters from across the country in addition to our own state-level experts. Topics will include improving communication, sexual health following a TBI, rehabilitiation efforts, self-advocacy, behavioral health and substance abuse, medical marijuana, and many, many more.

  • Professionals seeking CEU's: $75

  • General attendance: $25

  • Survivors of TBI: free registration

Travel Stipends for Survivors

Please note that survivors wishing to apply for a travel stipend will have that opportunity at the end of the registration process. Stipends include mileage reimbursement, meals, and lodging. Stipends are based on availability and slots are limited.

Professionals requesting continuing education credts: $75

General attendance: $25

What types of continuing education units are approved?

Applications have been submitted for the following continuing education units: SW, LPC, Nursing, PT, OT, SLP, Educator certificate, Psychology. Credits are pending for 4 hours on Day 1; 7.25 hours on Day 2; and 4.25 hours on Day 3.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

You do NOT need to bring your printed ticket.


Is the event accessible?
