Description

The celebration is back!

Teachers and administrators will gather to learn, share, eat, collaborate, and play at our third annual STEM & EdTech Symposium.

Our keynote speaker is the world-famous Jon Corippo. You will NOT want to miss this!

Valley View's JagTech students will be present to guide and assist, and tech support will be available. College Park students will be standing by to show off fun tools as well. The Andeavor Foundation, previously known as the Tesoro Foundation, has fully funded this event as part of its focus on STEM education.

A continental breakfast, lunch, snacks, and terrific raffle prizes will be provided. Our STEM Playground. including activities and tools from MDUSD's Andeavor STEM Lending Library will also be available for exploration. Did we mention that the new College Park FIRST Robotics team will be showing off their past, award-winning robot, in addition to the newly built robot before it goes to competition?

In addition, we have two special hands-on sessions for which you may pre-register. Mike Meneghetti from Stanley Middle School will offer a morning session which will include soldering practice. Space is limited to the first twelve participants. Additional registrants will be added to a waiting list. Register here for that event. You will also need to register for the Symposium.

Amanda Haughs will be offering an all-day session on using Raspberry Pi with students, so people signing up for that event will go to all three sessions. Space is limited to the first 15. Additional registrants will be added to a waiting list. Register here for that event. You will also need to register for the Symposium.
