Frequently Asked Questions
What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
Parking is available at the Kirkwood Community College Regional Center (1770 Boyson Rd, Hiawatha, IA 52233). Please do not park near the building to allow for student parking. From the Kirkwood lot, please walk the short block to the starting line in Clark Park.
What can I bring/should I wear to the event?
This is a color run so we encourage you to wear white (or your white Splash A Smile t-shirt). At the beginning of the run we will throw color and you will be splashed with color throughout the 5K route. We recommend covering your eyes with sunglasses or fitness glasses if you wear contacts. The color is made of corn starch and will wash out of clothing and hair. Strollers are welcome.
Where/When is Packet Pick-Up?
Splash A Smile packets will be available for pick-up at the Community Health Free Clinic Prescription Assistance Building (715 10th Avenue SE) on Friday, July 10, 2015. Race day registration and packet pick-up will be available at 8am on Saturday, July 11th. We will email registrants more information about pick-up times closer to race day.
What is the refund policy?
This is a rain or shine event and no refunds will be issued.
