Prior to joining the Spartans, he made a name for himself in the NAIA, as he put himself in the top 25 for All-Time NAIA wins among active coaches and arrived at TWU with over 21 years of experience as a university basketball coach and instructor. In addition to his coaching experience, Muhic has a BA from Eastern Oregon University, where he played four seasons with the Mountaineers, and has an MS in Sports Science from the United States Sports Academy. Before coming to TWU, Muhic spent his previous two seasons as an assistant coach at Sierra College in Rocklin, Calif. Prior to that Muhic spent 13 seasons as the head coach of William Jessup University (NAIA) in Rocklin, Calif., where he accumulated 173 wins.

ALEX PRIBBLE, ST. MARTIN’S UNIVERSITY

When head coach Alex Pribble took over the program in 2015, the Saints were coming off a 6-22 season and three wins in conference. Fast forward three years, and the Saints reached their first GNAC Championship game, earned their first trip to the big dance, and won an NCAA-era record 25 games. The Saints reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament, after defeating Cal Poly Pomona for their first win in the tournament in school history. Coach Pribble came to SMU after spending two season as an assistant coach at Eastern Washington University. He helped the Eagles finish 26-9 overall and 14-4 in the Big Sky Conference to share the regular-season title with University of Montana. Eastern swept through three games in the Big Sky Conference Tournament to garner the school's second NCAA Tournament appearance in school history.
