"Thanks to the Mag Miles for a phenomenal event. We highly recommend to future runners." @sandburgCC
The 'Magis Miles' is a night of one-mile races on the track at Saint Ignatius College Prep in the heart of downtown Chicago.
With music playing through every race, IHSA State Meet announcer Billy Poole Harris as the energetic announcer, and the meet streaming live to thousands on the Wolfpack Sports network, this is not a meet to miss.

Magis (pronounced mah-jis) is a Latin term meaning 'more', or 'better'. It is an aspiration to do more for others. We love track and field and we know you do as well. We want to give people the chance to compete and to see an exciting track meet! We hope our third annual event can be an expression of that sentiment!
The following races will be contested:
Open Miles - open to all ages and abilities! No entry requirement!
Boys (sub 6:00) and Girls (sub 7:00) Middle School (2017 8th grade grads and under)
Freshman Boys (sub 5:00) and Freshman Girls (sub 5:45)
High School Team Race (3 individuals from each school - one race - CC scoring)
Elite High School Boys (sub 4:25) and Girls (sub 5:20)

The times listed next to the races are qualifying standards. If you have run under that time, you are welcome to register and will be guaranteed a spot in the meet! Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
**If you are interested in competing in the Collegiate or Elite fields - please contact email@example.com**
Once again, we will have a variety of levels of competition. Although the upper levels of competition will still remain selective based on time standards, we are incorporating open miles for this year's field. Anyone, regardless of age, ability, or pace - can register to compete! You will be mixed in to a heat with other athletes of similar ability. Open awards will be based on age brackets. Top two in each age bracket will receive an award.
