The 3rd Annual Patient Engagement Summit, previously known as the Teach Back Summit, will cover the basics of adult education, including adult learning theory, learning styles, literacy, and communication topics to help staff teach and engage patients in a more meaningful way.
The target audience for this course includes: nurses, doctors, case managers, student nurses, pharmacists, and care partners.
Provider approved by the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider Number 12511 for 4.5 contact hours.
UCLA Health is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. Nurses will be awarded 3.75 ANCC contact hours for participation in this activity.
UCLA Staff are encouraged to park in their parking space and utilize shuttle services.
Standard registrants are encouraged to use valet parking at UCLA Medical Center, Santa Monica. The cost is $12.
