3rd Annual Neighborhood Forum - Focus on Housing
Date and time
Description
Join Lincoln's Neighborhoods, City Departments, and Nebraska Senators in Lincoln's Third Annual Neighborhood Forum! We will begin the event by hearing from our state senators about this session's bills on neighborhood and housing issues. A small breakfast (fruit, muffins, etc) and coffee will be available. We will follow the senator panel with small roundtable discussions featuring representatives from city departments. In previous years, both participants and city directors felt the discussion was helpful to understand the full perspective of why, how, and when work gets done in the city. Residents discovered why the city works in certain ways, and directors gained a better understanding of neighborhood concerns, taking advantage of some ideas! Share your ideas for Lincoln's future! Feel free to bring a friend or neighbor.
The event will take place at 2640 R Street (Candlewood Church), from 8:30 registration to 11:30 am, on Saturday February 9th.
Parking is available in the adjacent lot as well at NeighborWorks Lincoln across the street.
