Greetings!

The 3rd Annual Michael L. Karapetian '97 Entrepreneurship Symposium will be held this year on Sunday, November 19th from 9:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. in Moravian College's brand new Sally Breidegam Miksiewicz Center for Health Sciences (Main Street)! This event will feature three rounds of student competition, where undergraduate students will be pitching startup business ideas to a panel of judges for a chance to win up to $4,000 in cash to begin their businesses. Your attendance at this event will support our dedicated students.

Additionally, our keynote alumni entrepreneur speakers will focus on how their businesses contribute to the health and well-being of society.

Below is the agenda for the day. All are welcome to attend who have an interest in higher education, healthy living, and the entrepreneurial spirit! We only ask that you register for this free event.

9:30 – 10:00 a.m. | Registration and Continental Breakfast

10:00 – 10:30 a.m. | Welcoming Remarks from Dr. Gary Kaskowitz, Professor of Economics and Business; Dr. Bryon Grigsby, President of Moravian College; and our namesake speaker, Michael L. Karapetian ’97, President of Lazari Asset Management

10:30 – 11:30 a.m. | Round 1 - Elevator Pitches

12:00 – 12:30 p.m. | Breakout Session (alumni entrepreneurs and students will mingle, discussing start-up business ideas and concepts.)

12:30 – 1:30 p.m. | Lunch with our Keynote Speaker, Jeanne Villano Petrucci ’86, Founder of Living Plate

1:30 – 2:15 p.m. | Round 2 - Semi-Finals

2:15 – 3:15 p.m. | Round 3 - The Finals

3:15 – 3:30 p.m. | Winners Announced and Final Remarks, Michael L. Karapetian ‘97
