3rd annual Island-Wide Conference on Disabilities
Sat, April 29, 2017, 8:30 AM – 3:00 PM ChST
As part of our efforts to create advocacy, transition, and employment opportunities for youth and individuals with disabilities, we are inviting you to our 3rd annual Island-Wide Conference on Disabilities on Saturday, April 29, 2017 from 8:30 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Nikko Hotel. This year our topic is, “Promoting Successful Transition for Your Child from Early Intervention to Adulthood,” and will be facilitated from the parent’s perspectives, to include a parent panel and parent presenters.
In 2016, we had 60 individuals attend the conference. This year we anticipate 80 individuals attend this growing conference! Statistically, PEP sees an overwhelming majority of individuals with disabilities stay home and are unemployed. Our goal is for these individuals to be able to be in the workforce, be empowered, and live a success-filled life.
Join us as advocate, influencer, or change agent to help us meet this goal. We need your support to afford unserved and underserved with the ability to attend this conference.
