When & Where
The mission of the Herremans Foundation is to help where help is needed by providing resources for various charitable organizations, to effect positive change in our communities. Herremans founded the Foundation in 2012 because he felt that it was important for him to use his notoriety as a member of the Philadelphia Eagles to bring attention to community causes and give back, both in Philadelphia and the surrounding areas, as well as his home state of Michigan. “I believe that it’s our responsibility to not only go out on play our best on the field, but to help those around us that aren’t as fortunate as I have been in my life and career, To help where help is needed by providing resources for various charitable organizations, to effect positive change in our communities.” Starting a Foundation builds upon a history of supporting a wide range of charitable efforts dating back to his time growing up in Michigan and reflects Herremans desire to be able to help different organizations based on need and circumstances.
To date the Foundation has provided assistance and donations to the following organizations: Alzheimer's Association Recreation Center, American Cancer Society/Philadelphia, American Cancer Society/West MI, Autism Speaks, Bringing Hope Home, Cooper Hospital, First Responders Seaside Heights, Habitat for Humanity, Kevin From Heaven, Magee Rehabilitation Hospital, MostSports+, No Place For Hate, ,Ravenna Township Library, SHS LaCross Boosters Association, St. Catherine's/Ravenna, Labs with a Heart and Vets Helping Vets
