Gingerbread against fruitcake.
Color lights versus clear lights.
Animatronic reindeer against 20-foot inflatable snowmen.
Underneath the top layer of cheer lies a fervent competition to make the holiday season great. That’s why we bowl.
Bring your competitive spirit as the local marketing and advertising community joins together to break bread, and hopefully 100, during our annual holiday rollfest on December 6 at Kenmore Lanes. It’s not only a night to kick back with your colleagues, it’s for a great cause – the Food Bank of WNY. The individual and team donating the most non-perishable food items will be awarded prizes, along with our top bowlers.
A non-perishable food donation and $25 gets you:
- Two hours of bowling (which is plenty)
- Rental shoes that may have been the inspiration for the hit song “The Christmas Shoes”
- A shot at prizes
- Unlimited pop!
- Warm and fuzzy feelings that come from helping a good cause
You can sign up as a team of four, or arrive alone in your finest ugly holiday sweater and we’ll present you with three new pals. If bowling’s not your thing (Santa is still crafting that naughty list you know) just bring $10 to hang and eat with the cool kids. It’s going to be a hoot, so don’t miss it. (Hint: Get your tickets now, space is limited.)
Oh, and thanks to Quinlan & Company for making all this possible.
Registration and food collection begins at 6:30 p.m. | Bowling from 7-9 p.m.
