Description

The Florida Department of Health in Seminole County (DOH-Seminole) is pleased to host their 3rd Annual Community Conversation Workshop to discuss Florida Healthy Babies, infant mortality, positive youth development and adolescent health on April 24, 2018 from 3:00pm-7:00pm at the Sanford Civic Center. Experts will present and address questions. The event is open to community members and providers.

Florida Healthy Babies is a collaborative statewide initiative designed to positively influence social determinants of health and reduce racial disparities in infant mortality. We encourage everyone to be a part of this Conversation to facilitate positive change.

“Maternal and child health is vital for the overall health of Seminole County. “I encourage our partners to join these discussions to empower our community to reach established goals of improving birth outcomes and achieving health equity in all areas,” said Donna Walsh, Health Officer for the Florida Department of Health in Seminole County.

Please feel free to contact us for additional information on Florida Healthy Babies and our 3rd Annual Community Conversation Workshop.
