(ALC) is a civic 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization purposed to address, showcase, educate, coordinate, provide access to resources and direction for African US citizens and residents on a local and state level. We are an umbrella for African U.S. Citizens and Residents from all parts of the African continent living in Florida. VISION: A Florida community where African US Citizens and Residents actively participate in Civic growth and development, Cultural awareness and Sustainable capacity building. MISSION Our Mission which we call our 3 Pillars, is to: (1) Bring Visibility to African Citizens and Residents (2) Build Civic Leaders in various professions (3) Foster Civic Representation PURPOSE: This Conference will be to inform, educate and get African citizens and residents actively engaged in a collective effort to produce sustainable growth and development in the community. It is also the get our community (Elected officials, Government agencies, Business owners and organizations) acquainted with the African community. The Florida African Conference is part of an effort of the African Leaders Council Inc. to bring visibility to African citizens and residents in Florida, build civic leaders in various professions and foster civic representation. The Conference deliberations will be on the following topics: Civic Engagement and Civic Representation, Immigration, Personal Finance and Entrepreneurial Development, Workforce and Career Development, and a College Student Forum. In addition to your presence. The Conference is expected to welcome over 200 descents from around Florida and the United States. Thank you for your registration and consideration. We are pleased to invite you to the 3rd Annual Florida African Conference in Orlando, Florida on Friday, March 23rd to Saturday 24th, 2018.

The theme for this year’s Conference is “A Road Map to Florida’s Diversity and Sustainable Development”.

ABOUT THE CONFERENCE

The Florida African Conference is part of an effort of the African Leaders Council Inc. to bring visibility to African citizens and residents in Florida, build civic leaders in various professions and foster civic representation. The Conference deliberations will be on the following topics: Civic Engagement and Civic Representation, Immigration, Personal Finance and Entrepreneurial Development, Workforce and Career Development, and a College Student Forum. In addition to your presence, we like to schedule a time with you next week or the week after in your Orlando area office to get you acquainted with our community and also to update you on what 2018 holds for the African community in Florida. The Conference is expected to welcome over 200 descents from around Florida and the United States.
