Description

Please join us for an event at The Publick House to support the BCF Scholarship Fund for Brookline High School! . We will eat delicious food and drink great beer/wine/whatever you fancy, and learn how you can make a lasting difference in the lives of deserving high school seniors who need additional support to cover the cost of a post secondary education. Please help fill the gap.

Tickets are $20 each and all proceeds will be pooled together for a donation to the Scholarship Fund. We hope to raise over $2,000 at the event from ticket sales, raffle tickets and any additional support individuals are inspired to donate that evening.

Yes - We will be holding a raffle! There will be 3-5 prizes ranging from gift certificates to top Washington Square restaurants & a grand prize of an overnight stay somewhere TBD! Raffle Tix will be sold at the event, cash/check only.

The Publick House, located in Washington Square, is providing their private space for the event and are generously donating delcious food for the evening as well as cash bar in the private section for us.

Please spread the word to anyone that may want to spend a Monday evening with great food, great drink, and other great supporters of Brookline students. All are welcome and we especially hope that many BHS alumni and current parents of students can attend.

About the Brookline Community Foundation Scholarship Fund:

The BCF Scholarship Fund for Brookline High School is an endowed fund that was created to support scholarships for Brookline High School graduating seniors. The scholarship funds are awarded to seniors who have financial need and will be pursuing post secondary education including two or four year colleges and vocational educational programs.

The BCF Scholarship is very important to help meet currentneeds in town. 13% of Brookline resident are living in poverty and almost one in three are economically insecure. Research shows that those with a college degree earn on average 75% more in total wages than those with a high school diploma. College is a pathway out of poverty.
