3rd Annual Chocolate and Beer Festival, brings together local Chocolatiers, breweries and bands to raise money for a good cause. The Children's Learning Center provides a comprehensive alternative educational program for exceptional children, who, because of their intense behavioral, social, emotional and educational needs are temporarily unable to succeed in the public school system. By developing a positive attitude toward learning, developing and strengthening self-esteem, teaching them essential academic and social skills, and successfully returning them to the public schools.
This sweet spot in SF Beer Week pairs suds (including the debut of Rosie the Riveter Ale and selections from Bridgeport, Bison, Elevation 66, Drake's, Anchor Steam, Moylan's, Lost Coast, Trumer, Marin Brewing Company, Triple Rock, and more) with cacao and confections (provided by Coco Delice, Galaxy Desserts, Jade, Madecasse, Theo, Alter Eco, Anything Chocolate 4 U and Bittersweet Cafe) and live jazz music (The Emperors's Jazz, Beam and the 21st Century).
Tickets $30 in advance, $40 at the door.
A FREE 16 person shuttle will run every 15-20 minutes to/from Richmond BART starting at 1:30pm unitl the fesival is over.
"The Works!" Entrance ticket include four (4) sample sized chocolates and four (4) sample sized beers. Additional beer and chocolate available for purchase inside event.
Chocolate Only Tickets also avaiable. Kids 10 years or older, attendees under the legal drinking age, designated drivers or attendees who are not interested in the beer. $15 for entrance and four (4) sample sized chocolates.
Kids under the age of 9 are free when accompanied by a parent.

CRANEWAY CONFERENCE CENTER
NEW- In Spring 2012 the Craneway Pavilion added a 40,000 sq ft conference center facility with a spacious general session area, 4 separate breakout rooms, kitchen area. Located on the second floor of the Ford Assembly Building, a minute walk from the main Pavilion, featuring the same industrial look and architectural style. ADA accessible (elevator).
Craneway Pavilion is designed for maximum sustainability, combining 21st century’s most forward-thinking building standards and green technologies with the structure’s original environmentally friendly features- the Albert Kahn’s south-facing sawtooth roof design, including more than 40,000 panes of glass fills the building with natural light and supports a one-megawatt rooftop solar power plant.
The hand-crafted wood-slab tables and bar tops used in the Craneway Pavilion and Assemble Restaurant are made from salvaged white oak trees. We use fresh, local, seasonal and organic ingredients whenever possible in the Assemble restaurant, as well as eco-friendly disposables and cleaning solutions in our catering.
Craneway offers full production services and has established a network of vendors for all your specialty needs and equipment rentals.
Craneway has an excellent relationship with both the City of Richmond and Police & Fire Departments’ officials to assist with any permits and planning for your event if such are required.
