The third annual Moon Festival will present ancient and modern Chinese folk music with Chinese musical instruments, dances and shows to local communities to better understand Chinese culture and heritage. The best performers within and outside of Connecticut, such as Melody of Dragon, a famous Chinese musical ensemble based in New York City, will perform in Fairfield. Usually, you would have to travel to Lincoln Center to enjoy their music. Famous Beijing Opera performers will take you to another level of enjoyment of Chinese culture. At the same time, delicious food from local restaurants will be served. You may also enjoy entertainment such as Tea Art Shows, games, and other activities. The main theme of the festival, Yuebing, or Moon Cake, will satisfy your taste of China right at the beautiful Jennings Beach.
