Event Details

The third annual Academic Cybersecurity Seminar (ACS) is designed to bring together students, professors, professionals and leaders for an annual discussion on cybersecurity topics. Middle Georgia State University's Center of Cybersecurity Education and Applied Research invite you to attend Middle Georgia’s premier free cybersecurity conference

The 2019 theme is cyber forensics, security, and law.

Center of Cybersecurity Education and Applied Research

The Middle Georgia State University Center for Cybersecurity Education and Applied Research (CCEAR) will support the University’s mission to educate and graduate inspired, lifelong learners whose scholarship and careers enhance the region through professional leadership, innovative partnerships and community engagement. The mission of CCEAR is to educate the future cybersecurity workforce and provide consultation to local businesses, governmental units, and interested parties. The objective of CCEAR is to provide an avenue for education and research in information assurance, computer network security, digital forensics, cryptography, risk assessment and mitigation, disaster recovery and management, security regulations and compliance, and information security management.

The Center for Cybersecurity Education and Applied Research resides within the School of Information Technology, located in the Professional Sciences Center on the main campus of Middle Georgia State University.
