OBJECTIVES

The overall event is to raise awareness about the local Sex Worker community and local and national Sex Worker rights legislation that impacts sex work as a whole. Most specifically legislation to reduce harm in the sex worker community and help keep sex workers safe.

Discuss SESTA/FOSTA legislation

Provide education about local community resources

Statement:

March 3rd recognizes International Sex Worker Rights Day. On this and every day we’re demanding our voices be heard about harmful legislation, stigmatization and criminalization aimed to shame and incarcerate consensual sex workers. We’re demanding our voices be heard about eradicating whorearchy within the community. We’re demanding our voices be heard about conflating consensual sex work and human trafficking. It is up to us! It is up to you! #WeMustHaveAVoice.
