Event description

Description

Are you a UVic student or Staff member and want to use the 3D printers in the Digital Scholarship Commons? If so, then this hands on workshop will prepare you to submit print jobs to our 3D printers. Once you've completed this session you'll be ready to print a model you've created, or downloaded from the web.

Before attenting the orientation, please watch the two videoes, install the 3D print software on you laptop, and take the pre-orientation quiz, so that you can be prepared for the hands-on exercises during the orientation (this will take less than 20 minues): https://onlineacademiccommunity.uvic.ca/dsc/workshops/3d-printing-orie…class-assignment/

Note: Student must take this workshop before they are permitted to submit print jobs to the DSC 3D printers.

Also note: If you register using this online form your personal information will be retained by Eventbrite, a private company located outside of Canada.
