Interested in acquiring valuable skills in 3D printing and digital design programs? Engineering World Health at the University of Minnesota in coalition with the Anderson Student Innovation Labs and the Institute for Engineering in Medicine 3D Printing Core is putting on a series of free workshops for any and all University of Minnesota students that will provide an introduction to CAD, 3D slicing and printing programs, and medical segmentation. No prior experience in 3D Printing or CAD is required, just a willingness to learn!

As a participant, you’ll gain:

  • Hands-on training in digital design and 3D printing programs

  • An introduction to medical segmentation and how it's connected to 3D Printing

  • Printer ready designs to use in your everyday life!

  • An understanding of the 3D printing resources available to students at the University of Minnesota

  • Information about the student groups and organizations on campus involved in 3D printing, product design, and engineering activism

The workshops will be held Thursday nights from 6:30pm-8:00pm, beginning in late September and running through November. Initial Workshop is Thursday, September 28th from 6:30-8pm in Bruininks Hall Room 330. The Workshop will then continue 10/05, 10/12, 10/19, 10/26, and 11/02 at the same time in the same room.
