Illinois MakerLab: Basic 3D Design Workshop
This workshop will demonstrate how to operate a basic 3D design software package (Tinkercad). Participants in this workshop will use this software to design a customized keychain that can be printed in our lab. The skills learned this workshop can be easily applied to create a wide variety of fun and useful 3D printable objects.
By completing all 4 of our workshops, you are eligible for a Digital Maker Certificate issued by the UIUC College of Business, Illinois MakerLab! Please see MakerLab.Illinois.edu/workshops for more information on each of our workshop offerings and how to earn a certificate.
Payment: Each workshop session is $15 + eventbrite fees

The worlds first business school based 3D printing lab at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Our mission is to provide students, faculty, and the entire Champaign-Urbana community with the knowledge and resources they need to be at the forefront of the emerging maker movement. Our lab caters to individuals from all different backgrounds - advanced designers well versed in Autodesk softwares all the way to 7 year olds who just learned what a 3D printer is.
