Have you ever made a shape by folding paper or using origami? Well, imagine you can do that on a computer screen and then print your shape out on a 3D printer! That's what we're going to do in this workshop - for girls, ages 10-15. We will learn how to make our first 3D model and prepare it for printing out on a 3D printer!
We will start with easy-to-make shapes, learning structural packaging techniques to form models. We will fold 3D forms using high-quality paper, measure them, and then draw and create a 3D file on the computer, and prepare it for printing.
You have to be between 10-15 years old, and you have to bring your own (or your parents') laptop to the workshop.
