I'm really excited about this workshop! The first day, we'll go on a walk to search for texture, such as tree bark where we will cast a quick mold on site and take a photo for later reference. We'll head back to the studio to fill the mold with acrylic gel and let it dry. We'll also paint a background to adhere the 3D skin in the following week. In the next class, we'll paint the casting to match the bark colors of the original texture. These 3D skins will then be adhered to the canvas background we painted the week before. This process will really get your creative juices flowing! Two Saturdays, July 15 and 22, 1-4 pm. No experience necessary, All materials provided.
