[3CSN] Spring Regional Summit (LARN)
Event Information
Description
Be in community with 3CSN and colleagues in your region at "Navigating Institutional Change: Design Principles for Equitable Collaboration," one of six Spring Regional Summits across the state, as we continuing weaving together our student success initiatives by learning how to create design principles that place equity at the center of this collaborative work.
This one-day workshop is the second part of a two-part series focused on how to build a foundation of intentional community and relational trust so that campus colleagues can achieve genuine transformative change. After surfacing personal stories of positive change in community and beginning to build knowledge about change, participants will be invited to find colleagues working on similar projects and to develop inquiry questions, build new knowledge from a text set, create a “navigation plan,” engage in a peer review, revise their plans, and share the plans as a whole group. The group will surface “design principles” that help to nurture equitable collaboration.
Together, we will deepen our understanding of intentional collaboration and build on your campus plans for Guided Pathways, College Promise, and the redesign of English and Math courses.
Breakfast and lunch will be served. All are welcome! Students are encouraged to attend. Bring a team, bring a friend!
Location: ACA 1601 (B8 on the map grid below)
