Join Young Conservatives of Texas in Austin for their 39th Annual State Convention as we discuss the issues facing our campuses and state!

About this Event

Young Conservatives of Texas is excited to announce its 39th Annual State Convention. This year's convention will be in Austin, TX featuring dozens of influential thinkers, activists, politicians, and alumni who will offer their perspectives on the issues facing our country, state, communities and campuses.

Convention will begin with hotel check-in and a reception on Friday night. On Saturday, at the beautiful headquarters of the Texas Public Policy Foundation, we will hear from a variety of speakers and discuss the issues facing the Lone Star State. We will end the evening with a formal dinner keynoted by Attorney General Ken Paxton where we will recap this year of YCT and discuss our plans for the future of our activism across the State of Texas.

9:30am: Law and Liberty : A panel on the intersection of the law and liberty with Rob Henneke, Mark Pulliam, and Andrew Graham

10:45am: A New House: A panel on the Texas House with Representative James White, Representative Mayes Middleton, Representative Scott Sanford, and Representative Cole Hefner.

12:00pm: A Moral Society: A panel on the important issues facing social conservatives today with Jonathan Saenz, Senator Bryan Hughes, Representative Briscoe Cain, and John Seago

1:15pm: Lunch (catered) + Keynote Address

2:45pm: A Conversation on the 2018 Election with Jordan Berry

3:30pm: Shall Not Be Infringed: A panel on the state of gun rights in Texas and nationwide with Rachel Malone, Representative Jonathan Stickland, Michael Cargill, and Amy Swearer
