WOW KICKOFF LEARNING | A Team To Be Proud Of with Robert O'Neill

The definition of a hero is a person who is admired or idealized for courage, outstanding achievements or noble qualities. There is no better person that embodies the term “hero” other than an American legend, Robert O’Neill.

Most people, when they hear the name Robert O’ Neill, remember him for being a Team Leader for SEAL Team Six that went on the mission to kill America’s number one target, Osama Bin Laden. What you will learn is that he had many more missions with his team which led up to that fateful day that helped him prepare and fulfill his duties.

Although O’Neill has been on hundreds of missions with SEAL Team Two, Four and Six, some notable ones include the rescue and extraction of the Lone Survivor, Marcus Luttrell, and being the lead jumper for the rescue operation that saved Captain Richard Phillips from Somali pirates.

But Robert's contributions to America didn’t stop there. He went on to become the co-founder of Special Operators Transition Foundation that helps Special Ops veterans’ transition successfully from their military careers to corporate careers.

To some, having an illustrious career in the military and becoming a highly decorated hero would be goals only few could achieve. However, Robert has shown that he will never quit when it comes to helping others achieve their own goals.
