In partnership with USC Darla Moore School of Business, SC Economics is offering any of our South Carolina K-12 teachers a FREE opportunity to attend the 36th Annual Economic Outlook Conference.
The general admission rate is $75 for most attendees, but in consideration for the importance and impact of K-12th grade teachers, the cost when purchased through SC Economics will be a refundable $25 dollars. The $25 registration (plus $2.37 fee) will be refunded at the reception desk on the day of the event, making the event FREE. The deadline to register for this year’s event is Friday, December 2nd.
Lunch is included.
The Darla Moore School of Business’ annual Economic Outlook Conference is South Carolina’s premier economic outlook conference. For 35 years, the event has brought public and private sector leaders to provide an unbiased – and reliable – economic forecast for the coming year. The keynote address will be given by Professor Laurence Kotlikoff, a leading expert on the long-run fiscal health of the United States and Social Security. Professor Kotlikoff will address what to expect to the U.S. federal budget, debt and other critical issues facing the U.S. economy and the new president and Congress in 2017.
Attending teachers will be awarded 4 recertification credits.
