35th Annual Diocesan Convention
Please complete this registration form and mail a check no later than October 15, 2015. Clergy, Lay and Guest registration are on separate pages of this form. Keep track of the total fees for each group, as you will be asked to enter totals on the last page. You may also want to print a copy of each page as you go for your records.
The cost of registration is $85 and includes: the registration fee for each clergy member and lay delegate and all meals (includes Friday breakfast, lunch and snacks and Friday evening dinner and entertainment). The registration fee does not include hotel accommodations. Alternates, Non stipendiary Clergy, Retired Clergy, and Clergy Licensed to Officiate do not pay a registration fee, so the cost of registration for their meals alone is $65. Please write one check made out to The Diocese of West Tennessee to cover all registration and meal costs.
Convention badges are made in advance. Please furnish complete names for each Clergy, Lay Delegate, Lay Alternate and Guest and make sure they are spelled correctly.
Canon 1, Section 7 (a) & (b): a) “Each congregation in union with the Convention may be represented by the following number of Lay Delegates: Mission Congregations may have two Lay Delegates, and Parish Congregations may have four Lay Delegates.” B) “It shall be the duty of the Vestry or Mission Council of each Congregation to elect its Lay Delegates and an equal number of Alternates each of whom shall be a Confirmed Communicant in Good Standing of the Congregation and at least eighteen years of age.
