34th Annual Taste of Collier
Sun, November 19, 2017, 11:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
We're shaking things up a bit...
After receiving a large amount of feedback from our event partners, we've decided to shake things up and announce a new "change of season" for the 2017 Taste of Collier. We recognize that season is getting longer each year and feel strongly that this change will allow all of our participants to take a much needed rest before focusing on our heavily anticipated event!
Consider it a "Pre-Season" Launch Party!
So mark your calendars as this year's Taste of Collier will take place on Sunday, November 19, 2017 at Bayfront in Downtown Naples (pending City Council Approval).
As the Taste Founder, Ray Singer stated:
"This pre-season launch will allow restaurants the opportunity to showcase their 2018 Season Menu and to build relationships with both year-round and seasonal residents!"
This new date will put a fresh new face on this incredible event, and our new partnership with Naples Square and the former Naples Daily News lot, will allow for ample parking directly across from the event site and very nearby for easy access by attendees.
We are very excited about this new date and look forward to your attendance.
In the meantime, enjoy a nice post-season break and a wonderful summer!
The Taste Of Collier Team
The 34th Annual Taste Of Collier is Presented By XYZ, and made possible by our friends at Johnsonville Sausage, Seminole Casino Hotel, Cheney Brothers INC, Coastal Beverage, Taylor Rental/Party Plus Naples, Gulfshore Life, and many more!
Taste Of Collier, a long-standing Naples tradition, is an afternoon of family fun featuring live music by area musicians, crowd-pleasing ice-carving demonstrations, cooking competitions with local top chefs, and of course, savory samples from over 30 of the best local restaurants in Collier County!
A brief history...
The Taste of Collier began in 1983 when a few local members of the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association decided to host an event that would express gratitude for the year round residents that patronize the local restaurants. The first event was very well received and the Taste of Collier Board members decided for the second year event they would partner with a local non-profit organization and donate a portion of funds raised, thus giving even more back to the Collier Community.
Over the past 33 years, many local charities have shared in the nearly $1,000,000 raised during the Taste of Collier events.
How it works...
General Admission is $5 per person (Children under 10 are free) to enter the event - this includes access to our live entertainment, ice carving stations, cooking demonstrations, and much more!
To purchase food samples or beverages you'll need to purchase Food & Beverage Tickets - which are sold in sheets of 10 for $10, online or at the event. These tickets are the only accepted currency inside the event, with most samples priced between 1 and 7 tickets. 1 ticket = $1.
Guests that purchase ticket media online may now proceed directly to the event's main entrance - look for the signage directing you to "Online Check-In". Remember to print out and bring all of your digital tickets as they will need to be scanned and collected.
More information coming soon!
