The 34th Annual Maryland Communication Association (MCA) Conference theme, “#MCACommTalk: Communication, Culture and Media Education,” focuses on the process through which individuals are able to critically understand the nature, techniques and impacts of media messages and productions. Attendees will be exposed to scholarly presentations about the complex messages related to culture we receive from television, radio, movies, social media, newspapers, music, billboards, books, magazines, newspapers or other forms of media.

Keynote Speaker: Dr. Ronald L. Jackson, II, President, National Communication Association, Professor of Communication, Culture and Media - McMicken College of Arts & Sciences at the University of Cincinnati.
