About this event
Our speakers are sure to bring tears to your eyes, smiles to your faces and joy to your heart. We know that our Big Book, Alcoholics Anonymous, says, “Each day, somewhere in the world, recovery begins when one alcoholic talks with another alcoholic, sharing experience strength and hope.” (Alcoholics Anonymous, Forward to the Third Edition, page xxii) We are doing our best to offer opportunities for these “talks” to begin. Many great events are planned in addition to the speakers.
A special thanks goes out to all who have assisted us with the Sioux Empire Round-Up. Especially, all the committee members and volunteers from AA, Al Anon, and Alateen, our speakers and their families, the Ramkota, Gopher State Library, all who have attended, and mostly importantly…the One who has all power! We look forward to having you all back for many years to come.
Finally, we ask you to consider one final thought. Over the past days/months/years, we all know at least one alcoholic who is not with our fellowship anymore, for whatever reason. Perhaps, this is the year, we reach out to them and encourage them to join us for a weekend of recovery, joy and gratitude at the Sioux Empire Roundup and perhaps we may all witness a miracle!
