Training Description: Are you interested in learning how to train early childhood professionals on the NH Early Learning Standards (NH ELS) through Child Care Aware of NH? If so, join us for the "Train-theTrainer: Standards of Practice Flex Training Series". This training will delve into the multi-session Standards of Practice (SOP) Flex Training Series developed by Child Care Aware of NH through the use of Gaye Gronlund's book Early Learning Standards and Staff Development, Best Practices in the Face of Change and the New Hampshire Early Learning Standards. Through group discussions, activities and reflection, participants will gain a working knowledge of how to use and train early childhood professionals on the SOP Flex Training Series. Some of the topics discussed in the training series are learning the history behind the NH ELS, taking a closer look at the NH ELS document and discovering how it can be a resource for those in the early childhood field.
