* More Than Just Routine (8:45-10:45)
-Workshop to introduce the social-emotional aspects of typical infant/toddler personal care routines and how to foster positive relationships through interactions during these routines.
* Responding to Families in Culturally Sensitive Ways (11:00-1:00)
-Workshop to teach the basic understanding of culture and cultural sensitivity and to teach skills needed to become culturally responsive to families
*Guidance and Discipline for Infants/Toddlers in Group Care (2:00-4:00)
-This session covers key principles in socialization and guidance. Participants will have the opportunity to consider appropriate guidance, discipline and intervention strategies.
* There a 15 minute break between the first two classes, and lunch will be from 1:00-2:00
Cost: $15 per person for those NOT yet participating in Quality Rated
Cost: FREE for those already participating in Quality Rated
Payment in the form of CHECK or MONEY ORDER ONLY will be accepted at time of event.
If you would like to attend training for $0 Technical Assistants will be available at training to assist you in submitting an application for Quality Rated.
*All workshops are approved by Bright from the Start, Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning as part of the annual training requirements for child care providers.
